Alon
Bisk Cello |
| Cellist Alon Bisk maintains a busy concert schedule, performing everything from early baroque music to twentieth-century contemporary works with leading artists from around the world. Bisk received a Bachelor’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music and went on to complete a Master’s degree in orchestral performance at the institution. Subsequently, participation in chamber music festivals took him first to Virginia and then to Ottawa, Canada, where he performed with Pinchas Zukerman at the U.S. Embassy, the National Arts Centre, and the Israeli ambassador’s private residence. Bisk is also a co-founder of the Lorenzo String Quartet, which has twice won the Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition. Equally skilled in orchestral settings, Bisk has worked with such renowned conductors as Kurt Masur, Gunther Schuller, Zdenek Macal, and Gerard Schwarz. |
