Christopher Coletti
Trumpet
Christopher Coletti is a student of Thomas Smith at the Manhattan School of Music. Christopher has been principal trumpet of orchestras all across the tri-state area and is also a regular soloist. He performed the Arutiunian Trumpet Concerto with the Staten Island Symphony Orchestra after winning an annual concerto competition when he was sixteen. A year later he went on to perform the Haydn trumpet concerto with the LaGuardia High School Symphony Orchestra after being the first trumpet player to win their annual concerto competition. That same year he was invited by the Centre Symphony Orchestra to perform the Arutiunian Concerto. An active chamber musician, Chris is a founding member of the New Amsterdam Brass Quintet. He has performed with small ensembles at events attended by people ranging from Martha Stewart, Billy Joel and Chevy Chase to Barbara Bush, Glen Dicterow and Pete Seeger.
