Jennifer Kim Violin |
| Jae-Yeon (Jennifer) Kim is a versatile violinist who performs extensively in New York City and around the world. As an avid chamber musician, she has appeared at Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, Peter Jay Sharp Theatre, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, Steinway Hall and Miller Theatre. Internationally, she has appeared in Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, Spoleto, Sapporo, Tokyo and YongPyeong. She has served as the concertmaster at National Orchestral Institute and Bach Society Orchestra at Columbia University. As the winner of 2004 Concerto Competition sponsored by Columbia University’s Bach Society, she performed Bruch’s Violin Concerto in g minor at Miller Theatre. In addition, she won the 2001 Feuer Competition and honorable mention at the National Symphony Orchestra’s Young Soloist Competition. She is a participant of ENCORE School for Strings, Aspen Music Festival, Kent/Blossom Music Festival, Spoleto Festival in Italy, Great Mountains Music Festival in Korea and Pacific Music Festival in Japan. She is a candidate for a Master of Music degree in violin performance at the Juilliard School. |
