Sebastian Chamber Players (SCP) is a group of young virtuoso musicians, dedicated to sharing the joy of music with diverse audiences through innovative programming. With the unique combination of chamber ensembles and orchestra performances, SCP has offered a repertoire ranging from baroque to contemporary and commissioned works. The musicians are trained at the most prestigious conservatories and schools including the Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Yale University, and Columbia University. SCP has performed in several major venues including Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center and Merkin Concert Hall of the Elaine Kaufman Cultural Center, and has appeared in Lincoln Center's Out-of-Doors and Aspen Music festivals. SCP, in its fourth season, will present four concerts in 2005-2006 at the Good Shepherd-Faith Presbyterian Church, as well as several chamber music concerts throughout the Northeast. Since its inception, SCP has been a musician-operated organization.
